Project overview
Comprehensive drainage investigation and remedial works within one of the City of London’s most significant civic buildings.
Located in the heart of the City of London, Mansion House is the distinguished residence and office of the Lord Mayor. K Dean Building Services was appointed to investigate the condition and configuration of the drainage infrastructure throughout the building and complete targeted remedial works.
Scope of works
- Site investigation and drainage condition assessment
- CCTV drainage surveys throughout the building
- High-pressure water jetting and cleaning
- Localised drainage repairs and remedial works
- Patch lining to defective pipework
- Full drainage route and connection mapping
- Production and issue of a complete drainage plan for the building
Delivery
The works required detailed investigation within a sensitive, operational historic environment. Surveys, cleaning and repairs were carefully coordinated to build an accurate record of the drainage network while minimising disruption to the building and its users.
